About Danielle

Trauma Doesn't Just Live in Your Head. Neither Does the Healing.

My Story

Twenty-five years ago, my world fell apart. And rebuilding it taught me what real healing actually requires.

I had just left an abusive relationship that drained me emotionally and left me feeling like a shell of myself. Every day felt heavy, and I couldn't shake the question: "Why don't I deserve to be loved?" Walking away wasn't easy. It wasn't just a decision, it was one of the scariest things I've ever done. But deep down, I knew I deserved better. I wanted peace. I wanted joy. I wanted my life back.

The journey to healing wasn't straightforward. It was messy and full of ups and downs. But slowly, I started to find my way. Yoga helped me reconnect with my body. Mindfulness brought me back to the present moment. Somatic work and nervous system healing taught me that the answers I'd been searching for in my head had been living in my body the whole time. That's the work I now do with other women.

Meet The Team

Danielle Young

Founder, Master Certified Life Coach, Podcast Host, Author & Speaker

Master Certified Life Coach, RYT-200 trauma-informed yoga teacher, Yoga Nidra facilitator, Certified Self-Inquiry Coach, and Certified Nervous System Trainer, Somatic EMDR Trained. Author of From Surviving to Thriving: A Journey Beyond Trauma, host of the podcast Fine, I'll Talk About It, and Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine.

What I Do

I offer private Somatic EMDR sessions, a 12-week signature program, and a membership community designed to support women through real, embodied healing. Every offering meets you at a different depth, and every one is built on the same foundation: that healing happens in the body, in the nervous system, at the pace your system can handle.

How I Work

integrate Somatic EMDR, nervous system regulation, life coaching, and self-inquiry into a whole-person approach. This isn't talk therapy. It's body-based work designed to reach the place mindset shifts can't. We move at the pace your nervous system needs, never faster.

My Mission

To be the beacon of hope I didn't have when I started my own journey. To help women move from surviving to thriving in a way that actually lasts. And to remind every woman who lands here: you are not broken. You are carrying too much. And there is a way forward.

What People Are Saying

"Working with Danielle was magic for me, both personally and professionally. The skills, perspective, and practices I learned, I still embrace. They continue to help me get out and stay out of my own way. I’m more free now to see what isn’t productive, give up my circling in spaces that keep me unproductive, and, instead, put into practice what brings me the results I really want."

-Ruthie S.

"Danielle's way of being openly loving and compassionately insightful has helped me a great deal! She has held space for me in darkness and walked me through acceptance and towards my light! She is a life coach able to hold space through struggle as well as guide towards self-actualization! I'm so grateful for her in my life."

-Candice K.

"What can I even say about Danielle’s RAW Talk? She absolutely blew the whole room away. Tears, laughter - and a standing ovation. No script, no slides, no selling - just pure, heartfelt presence by every single woman in that room. Women who will no doubt be her clients and collaboration partners in the future.

Danielle’s ability and willingness to speak from the heart and not the script was a risk which paid off in the biggest way possible - with women from all over the World remembering her name, her message and her legacy for years to come.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with her and I highly recommend Danielle for any stage in the future which values the kind of connection she can bring with a RAW talk.

Founder RAW Talks

Danielle Young was absolutely amazing at the Reclaim Your Power Virtual Summit. With grace and clarity, she reminded us that while we can’t control everything in life, we can choose how we respond—and that surrender is part of reclaiming our power. Her message brought such a grounded perspective on control, acceptance, and the power that lives within each of us. Danielle was poised, polished, and truly impactful. Her presence was calming, her insight profound, and her words left a lasting impression. I’m so grateful for what she shared with us.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this therapy?

No. My work is coaching and trauma-informed support, not therapy. Through the Inspired Action Method™, I help women create lasting change using Somatic EMDR, nervous system regulation, breath work, and self-inquiry. If you are looking for clinical mental health treatment, therapy may be a better fit.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

Coaching may be a good fit if you are ready for support, reflection, and action, and you want help moving forward in a meaningful and lasting way. It is especially helpful for women who feel stuck in survival mode and want to rebuild confidence, self-trust, and clarity.

How do I book you to speak?

You can use the speaking inquiry form or contact me directly through the website. I speak for nonprofits, corporations, women’s groups, and communities that want practical, meaningful conversations around healing, resilience, confidence, and transformation.

Can I work with you if I’m not sure what I need yet?

Yes. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. If you know you want support but are still unclear on the best path, we can start with a conversation and determine what kind of coaching or next step makes the most sense.

Who do you work with?

I work with women who are navigating trauma, self-doubt, people-pleasing, life transitions, and the desire to reconnect with themselves in a deeper way. I also work with organizations and communities through speaking engagements focused on healing, resilience, confidence, and growth.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. I offer virtual coaching sessions, which allows me to support women wherever they are. Specific details about availability and scheduling can be shared when you reach out.

How do I get started?

The best place to start is by booking a Clarity Call or reaching out through the contact form. From there, we can explore what kind of support you need, whether coaching or speaking is the right fit, and what the next step looks like. If you're ready to go all-in, try one of the packages on the Services page.

Do you work with minors?

Not usually. Because this work is virtual right now, I am only accepting ages 18+.
